KZN-based Sage Trans has extended its portfolio of plant hire equipment with the investment in a new Case 1021F wheel loader from Case Construction Equipment SA.
“The recent addition of a robust Case 1021F wheel loader to our fleet, forms
part of the company’s expansion programme, which is geared to efficiently
meet growing demand for plant hire, not only in KwaZulu-Natal, but throughout the country,” says Lenny Naicker of Sage Trans.
“The Case 1021F wheel loader is able to balance safely on high banks, turn
in tight areas and grasp large loads. An important feature is fuel efficiency.
This machine offers a 10% increase in fuel economy and fuel savings can
be further improved with the standard engine shutdown feature, which allows control of engine idle time,” he adds.
The Case 1021F wheel loader is a 24 ton machine, powered by a Case FPT
Tier 3 8.7 litre common rail engine, with a maximum power of 239kW at
1 800rpm. This machine is fitted with heavy-duty axles and 26.5R25 L5 radial tyres and ride control as standard.
