Mining and quarrying equipment specialist Osborn, a subsidiary of Astec Industries Inc, has completed a significant export order for a new aggregate crushing plant in Harare, Zimbabwe.
New customer Beta Holdings, Zimbabwe’s largest brick and concrete roof tile supplier, has installed and commissioned six Osborn machines in the brand-new plant.
“This order was secured through our Zimbabwean dealer, Jacob Bethel Corporation,” explains Osborn regional sales manager Kevin Mgiba. Beta Holdings is a well-established Zimbabwean business with its origins going back to 1953 when it was established as Alpha Bricks.
