The CMA (Conveyor Manufacturers Association) held its 27th Annual Golf day in June at the Bryanston Country Club, and what a fantastic day it was, too.  We had a full field of 26 fourballs playing the course, which was in excellent condition, and the weather was sunny and dry.  Winter times, so some players unfortunately came in in the dark, but we have a plan to counter this next year.

A delighted Frik du Preez

There was a Hole in One on the 11th, by Frik du Preez, who was playing in the winning Brelko team: Carel, Frik, Jay and Greg.  Their score was 96.

Runners up, also on 96, was the SEW1 team: Edwin, André, Daniel and Helmo. Other prizes went to Kellerman Lutte and Stephan Teixeira for Nearest the Pin on the 9th and 14th, respectively, and the Longest Drive on the 17th went to Barend Bouwer.  The Rossi prize for his LONG Drive on the 10th went to Dane Martin.

There was plenty of fun with Mulligan stickers being redeemed around the course, and there were plenty more prizes to hand out at prizegiving.

Sale of Mulligans stickers raised R6 250 for the chosen charity, and players generously purchased raffle tickets for the draw at the end of prizegiving.  The proceeds were donated to Adora-Bull Terrier Rescue, a most deserving animal charity.
