The CMA has some interesting items on the Calendar in the next few weeks, starting with the SAIMH and CMA Joint Forum meeting being held on Wednesday 10 April at Brelko premises. Graham Short is presenting a paper on the design of screw take-ups, Bruce Watts is speaking on modern day project challenges, Simon Curry’s presentation is on belt loading, and Adi Frittella presents the re-launch of the Institute. Admission is free, but as space is limited, it is essential to book. If you would like a reply slip to reserve your seat, please contact either the CMA or SAIMH.
Next up on the calendar is a Members’ Meeting, which includes presentation of Diploma certificates to achievers of the Design Diploma course held in February. The Design Diploma courses are extremely popular and fill up months ahead.
The Golf Day is scheduled for 10 May, followed swiftly by a Conveyor Certificate course on 14 – 16 May, and the Chute Seminar on 21 – 23 May. This latter is held only once a year and includes lectures by Dusan Ilic (Australia), is facilitated by Henk Brink and includes temporary licences to DEM software.
There is plenty to look forward to, so don’t lose the opportunity to participate!
