This month I have some very important information for industry: It concerns the ‘CMA Safety Around Belt Conveyors Guideline’, which is widely used in industry and the DMRE. Revision 5 of this document is now available and is published on the CMA website www.cmasa.co.za.
Revision 5 corrects an omission that occurred in earlier versions of the document. The omission was Figure C7 of Appendix C. This can now be found on the final page of Appendix C adopted from AS 1755-2000 Ergonomic Data. Please visit our website to obtain an updated copy of the Guideline.
